USPS LOSES LAPTOP WITH CLASS INFORMATION: On January 9, 2008, the USPS issued a letter advising the class agent of the Cyncar v. Potter Class Action that one of it's contractors, Advanced Solutions Group (ASG), lost a laptop through theft on November 19, 2007. That laptop contained information on the Cyncar v. Potter class action, as well as possibly other class actions throughout the Postal Service. Another Class-Action EEO in progress---Chandler Glover and Dean Albrecht, et. al., v. John E. Potter, Postmaster General, U.S. Postal Service, EEOC Case No. 320-A2-8011X; Agency Case No. CC-801-0015-99.
The above listed class-action EEO was issued on January 15, 2002. The effective dates for personnel in permanent rehabilitation positions in between January 1, 1992 thru December 2003, I believe, who were allegedly denied promotional and or advancement opportunities allegedly due to discrimination on the basis of disability.

The Glover Class-Action is in its final stages with payments being issued on November 9, 2007, however, you should visit the above mentioned website to peruse additional information as to the Glover status.
